He recently played twitch-shooter Nexuiz (which they tell me is pronounced "Nexus"), and wants to tell you all about his time in-game. Here's a little bit of the preview:"Turn, shoot, die; the good gents behind the new first-person shooter, Nexuiz, resurrects the genre made famous by other classic shooters such as Unreal Tournament and Quake. Far from retreading old ground, this downloadable title takes a fresh look at the “think fast on your feet” shooter by opening up the old mechanics to some new twists and making it look gorgeous at the same time. Fear not, fans of the twitch. At its heart, Nexuiz throws you into the action and running for your life."With a single click, you can read the rest of our Nexuiz preview.

Speaking to Eurogamer, lead producer Hakan Abrak confirmed that pure stealth -- along with related Achievements/Trophies -- is still a big focus for the latest entry in the long-running series."We will get into more details at a later point, but obviously it's linked to the playing style," he said. "It's more pacify your enemies, be undetected, maybe solve the challenges in a smarter way. That will probably give you a stealth assassin achievement."That's more like it. Abrak explained that the action-fueled demo was designed to show off the game's new features, and the revamped combat is a big part of that. He pointed to the hardcore-level challenges and other features "I cannot speak about" that the dev team hopes will enhance Hitman: Absolution's replay value.Abrak also confirmed that the harder difficulty "has a very special name" that he's "pretty sure [is] going to please hardcore fans." Unfortunately, he doesn't say what that name is. The game isn't coming until sometime next year though, so there's plenty of time.Source: Eurogamer

The company posted a lengthy asked and answered article on their website, and one of questions related to RDR and Rockstar's other PC releases. When asked why there are no plans to bring Red Dead to PC, the company answered, "All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms. To PC gamers, we hope that between the Grand Theft Auto titles, and the forthcoming L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, you’ll have plenty of great Rockstar action to enjoy."And there you have it. I know many Rockstar PC gamers have been waiting (somewhat impatiently) for Red Dead to make its appearance but it looks like that wait will be forever. Sorry, cowboys. The good news is that it looks like the upcoming Max Payne 3 will be coming to PC though, so that's good news, right?
